Magazine Production
All magazines have a publisher - there is the organisation that owns the magazine and then, the person that manages it. Both of these are referred to as 'publishers'. With an independently published magazine this can be the same thing. In a large publishing organisation there will often be ‘group publishers’ who manage a number of different magazine titles, typically organised in genres such as ‘lifestyle’, ‘motoring’, etc. (Source: here.)
